BOB: "I have spent the majority of my life, from age 17, involved in the forest and forest products industry.  I am proud to be associated with MTL as we are providing state of the are forest management techniques.  I take great pride in our staff of dedicated professionals.  We are indeed out there making a positive difference both for today and for the next generations."

JEFF: " I feel honored and humbled by the opportunity to make a difference on the forestland which I am charged with managing.  My goal is to leave the land in better shape than when I first encountered it, working towards a forest that is performing well both ecologically and economically.  Rather than working against nature, I choose to work with nature to provide benefits not only to the landowner but to the public at large.  Realizing that there is much more we do not know about the forest than we do know about it, I am constantly on a quest for knowledge."

JER:  "I treat my professional forest management duties as though I am merely an assistant to the biological system in which we and all other creatures live.  The forest is a grand and marvelous place to be a small part of.  Assisting the forest and its intricacies to continue as a vibrant and vigorous community is my goal.  This goal is only attainable due to the fine dedicated and dynamic personnel that makes our forestry business: MTL staff, the woods workforce, forest products marketplace, and the innumerable forestry alliances, clients, abutters and towns that we work with.  These people and groups are entirely an honor and rich satisfaction to be a part of."

BEV: "I have always enjoyed working with people who desire to do the job well and am proud to be part of a business who cares both about the need for jobs now and healthy forests for the future."

LAURA: I am honored and appreciative to be part of the team of people that make up MTL. MTL is a company that I have been aware of and motivated by since I returned to school to get my forestry degree in 1997.  My position with MTL allows me to help carry out what I consider to be the best forestry and conservation currently practiced.  This practice is derived from a combination of knowledge, technology, innovation, humbleness, hard work, optimism, cooperation, respect, and integrity. The bottom line is that the forests we manage remain functioning, dynamic ecosystems while providing the recreational, aesthetic, poignant, and economic benefit we ask of them.
